Animal Welfare Fund Success!
We have received a lovely update for the beautiful Lola after she was diagnosed with a mammary tumour.
Lola is an 11 year old Shi Tzu and beloved family pet who started developing a major lump, causing her to be unable to walk properly and was in considerable pain. After initial scans and treatment, it was concluded that Lola’s lump was a mammary tumour and needed immediate removal. Lola’s owners reached out to see if we could assist in supporting towards the final bill. We were happy to to contribute towards Lola’s operation and we are delighted to see that she is doing much better!
A mammary tumour is a lump that forms in the breast of female dogs, the risk of developing this tumour is decreased significantly if the dog has been spayed but can still be possible.
We love to see how our support has helped to change the lives of animals in need! Accidents and unexpected illnesses can happen at any time, if you are able to, please consider saying up an emergency fund, or better yet, taking out Pet Insurance. If your pet develops an ongoing condition before taking out insurance, this will not be covered if you then decide to get it. Plan ahead if you are able.
